miski's 2nd birthday!

well little miss princess turned 2! I can't believe she's already two and the way she acts around other dogs and people you would never know.  she's settled down a tiny bit at least, thank goodness.  work has been busy but i made sure that i got her some presents and a doggy cake. i picked up her present from her grandma from the US and gave it to her at home first thing - she immediately began ripping it open. it's like she knew exactly what to do with it and what it was right away! so cute.  there are some videos posted in the album about her opening the present and also using her new present (ball and throw stick) at the beach. she LOVES it!  if only i could teach her how to reliably bring it back to me.  she prefers to be chased and play catch me if you can. so i took her to the beach to play with her new toy and get the wiggles out. we had a lovely afternoon there even though it was incredibly windy. on the way home she passed out and once home i made her a special doggy cake with wet food and two raw hide sticks to act as candles. so cute! i got videos of that too. anyway she has a lovely birthday the little piggy.  the only thing missing was jose! today has been less fun - it's been one of those days where everything goes wrong and everybody is grumpy and rude, including me.  at least miski had a great birthday! and there's always tomorrow...here's hoping it'll be a better day.

  1. Happy Birthday, Miski!
Such cute photos. She opened her present just like our cat Cleo (and Pusser before that) did - remember? I could tell she really enjoyed that. I love the picture of her paw prints in the wet sand by the water. She certainly looked like she was having a great day at the beach and her present and the yummy birthday dog food cake!
Love and kisses, g'ma in the US of A
