Salineras and Moray Trip

I have always wanted to go see these other sites here in Cusco and today was gorgeous so we took advantage of it! (it's been rainy and yucky here) Went to Salineras (salt production area started by pre-Incas and Incas) and Moray (agricultural terrace rings meant to experiment with microclimates). They were incredible and the views of the mountains around (Chicon, Pitusiray, Pumahuanca, Veronica, etc) were breathtaking.  We had a blast!

Jose tried sushi!

We ate at sushi bar in Guayaquil this evening and got all you can eat sushi and it was fabulous. I talked jose into trying it out and he actually liked it! they thought he was Japanese which amused me. Off to Lima tomorrow and then cusco the next day...then packing for our move to austrailia in a few weeks yay! throughout our whole honeymoon i'd been in touch with a contract company in australia who found me a job and was helping us get the paperwork done for the move.

Fresh seafood in puerto lopez!

Our last night in puerto lopez we decided to have two dinners. It was awesome. We started at Carmita's and had seafood spaghetti that came with clams, shrimp, mussels, and octopus and then decided to try the grilled sea bass with fried bananas on the side (patacones). It was amazing! I actually liked the shellfish which is a big deal. Then we went to Bellitalia and had yummy homemade spaghetti with a creamy crab and salmon sauce and finished it all off with tiramasu. Then we left the next morning on a horrible bus to Guayaquil. It's SO hot here! Can't believe the honeymoon is almost over
