welcome to our blog! we're a peruvian-american couple - got married in cusco, peru in 2010 and moved down under to australia. we started this blog to keep everyone up to date with our adventures...which have been many and varied. and now we have embarked on an entirely new journey! our family grew by 2 very cute feet on november 4th!!!
It was nice this morning so we took Miski to the beach. She was over the moon! Yesterday she felt neglected because we did errands all morning and then had lunch with Nat and dinner with our neighbours. So fun!!!
It's a gorgeous day today. I did a bit of gardening which seems never ending here. Jose finished the little front deck for us and I picked one of the amazing roses that has started to bloom at our house. Yay!
Omg! So awesome that Robyn and Dave came to town with their new bundle of joy Gus! I haven't seen them in ages. Gus is adorable and perfect of course. We tried the new Peruvian / Latin American fusion restaurant in albany called chicha. It was pretty great. And amazing there are a couple more Peruvians in town! Who knew!
Luckily we got a good day. It's beautiful and no wind!! So nice. Slept in late and Miski was still lazy :) cleaned house a bit and then I did errands while jose went on a job interview. Fingers crossed! Then I got a few herbs and such to replace the ones that died this winter. Did some major weeding in the back yard and put in pineapple sage, mexican tarragon, lemon thyme, lettuce, and coriander. Also got a Tahitian lime tree!
Well I blobbed out yet again today. Thought I'd be so motivated but I not. We did take Miski for a run and went to the store. Anyway I made us lime Moscow mules tonight. They were great!!
